The history of wearing undergarments for women is quite interesting. It started from wearing nothing underneath to tying a loin-cloth (popular in Imperial Rome and ancient Egypt) under outer garments. It is said that women did not wear underpants or what we know as drawers until the late 18th century. Not much is known about earlier bust supports. Fashion for women was at its height in the mid-20th century. It was a time when women couldn’t wait to look good once again and certainly went all out to bring back style into their lives.
